The EFfCI GMP Standard – Good Manufacturing Practices – is a globally recognized quality benchmark for the safe, controlled, and high-standard production of cosmetic ingredients. Developed in 2005 by EFfCI, the standard is based on the current ISO 9001 framework and was specifically designed to meet the needs of the cosmetic ingredients industry.
EFfCI GMP provides a structured and consistent approach to manufacturing, emphasizing quality management, product safety, and traceability. Today, over 400 manufacturing sites across all five continents are certified to the EFfCI GMP Standard, reflecting its wide international adoption and trust within the industry.
To further strengthen the reach and impact of Good Manufacturing Practices, EFfCI has launched PCS360, a new, wholly owned service company dedicated to supporting the implementation, promotion, and continuous development of the EFfCI GMP Standard. With PCS360, EFfCI aims to expand the global footprint of GMP certification and provide tailored support to companies striving for excellence in the cosmetic supply chain.
